How it Works
Step 01
Initial Consultation
During our first meeting, I get to know you by using a questionnaire that I spent 2+ years of extensive collaboration on constructing. It allows me to ask open-ended questions that help me understand your character and habits to determine if you and I will be a good fit: I also welcome any questions that you may have. In addition, we will use this time to discuss your goals and expectations for your birth experience. Move on to step, "2".
Step 02
Pregnancy Support
If you and I agree that we will be successful in our partnership. We will move to building your desired birth plan and have an emergency plan in place for the birthing "what ifs". Throughout your pregnancy, I'll be available to answer your questions, provide resources, conduct testing and medical-related practices at your discretion, and offer emotional support. Move on to step, "3".
Step 03
Labor & Birth Support
The birthing plan that you designed will manifest during this stage! As you navigate the birthing process, I will provide continual physical and emotional support, advocacy, and guidance. If neonatal resuscitation, suturing, delayed cord clamping, male circumcision etc., is needed, it will be available during this stage. (Some of these things fall under the "emergency what ifs".) Move on to step, "4", the final step.
Step 04
Postpartum Support
Support is continued even after the birth of the baby. Through My Ancient BirthingTMH, I offer lactation coaching, postpartum doulatry and much more! Click on, "Book" and list your preferred contact information. List the services that you believe will best support your desired outcome using the, "Book Online", tab as a service reference. We will go over these services during our call. I look forward to hearing from you!
